Professor Malcolm D. Paul MD, FACS

 

 

Professor Paul is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute of the University of California at Irvine and Co Director of the Aesthetic Surgery Resident Training Program at the same institution.  After pursuing his medical studies at the University of Maryland, Professor Paul did his residency in general surgery at the Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York City and his plastic surgery residency at George Washington University Medical Center before moving to California.  He has been a Chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center and the Irvine Medical Center, and is Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Newport Beach Surgery Center.  Professor Paul has served as President of the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.  He is member of numerous professional societies and associations among which the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons and the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.  He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  Professor Paul has served in the Editorial Boards and as a Reviewer in numerous scientific journals including the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal. He has published extensively and has delivered numerous invited lectures, panel discussions and presentations in national and international congresses around the world.
