Dr. Paraskevas (Vakis) Kontoes MD PhD
Dr. Kontoes graduated in Medicine and Pharmacy from the University of Athens, Greece and holds a Ph.D. in Plastic Surgery from the University of Athens Medical School. He is a Specialist in Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic and Laser Surgery and author of several papers, reviews and clinical studies in National and International peer reviewed medical journals. He is the current President of the World Antiageing Medical Association (WAMA), and Membership Secretary – Treasurer of the European Society for Laser Aesthetic Surgery (ESLAS). Dr. Kontoes is Director of Plastic Aesthetic and Laser surgery Dept. “Hygeia” Hospital, Athens, Greece and Director of “Laserlight Clinic”, Athens, Greece (the first private Laser Clinic of non surgical Lasers established in Greece in 1997).
Dr. P.P. Kontoes is the pioneer of Laser Aesthetic surgery in Greece and performed the first ever full face resurfacing for wrinkles, age spots and age signs of the face in this country in 1995. His research and experience in Laser and Plastic Surgery was appreciated worldwide and he is regularly invited to International Congresses to give lectures on techniques exclusively developed by him.
