Professor Andrew J. Kaufman, MD, FACP
Dr. Andrew J. Kaufman received his medical degree at the University of
California at Los Angeles School of Medicine. He completed residencies in
Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and
Dermatology at University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Kaufman then
completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Surgery
at the University of California at San Francisco under Drs. Roy Grekin and
Richard Glogau.Dr. Kaufman is the Medical Director of The Center for Dermatology Care in Thousand Oaks and Santa Barbara, California, and is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery and is a member of the Board of Directors of that prestigious organization. Dr. Kaufman is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Kaufman is the author of numerous publications on facial reconstruction following skin cancer surgery and is a frequent speaker at international meetings on that subject. He is a consultant reviewer of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and consultant reviewer and contributing editor of Dermatologic Surgery.
