Jay W. Calvert, MD, FACS

Dr. Jay Calvert received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Cornell University Medical College in New York City. He went on to train in plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and served as an Adjunct Professor in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a former faculty member of the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. After leaving UCI to enter private practice, Dr. Calvert established the prestigious Roxbury Clinic and Surgery Center in Beverly Hills, California where he continues to educate students, fellows, and visiting surgeons locally and from around the world.
Dr. Calvert has expertise in rhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction, and minimally invasive endoscopic brow and facelifts. He has a special interest in revision rhinoplasty and is especially known for his novel uses of diced cartilage and deep temporal fascia. He co-authored several peer reviewed journal articles with his mentor, Dr. Rollin Daniel. He also serves as Historian of the Rhinoplasty Society and is active in teaching his techniques at courses hosted by the societies of which he is a member.
