Professor Bruce F. Connell, MD, F.A.C.S.

Professor Bruce F. Connell graduated from University of Buffalo School of Medicine and did his general surgery residence in the same University. He completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota under the Chairmanship of Frederick Figi and John Erich MD, Kenneth Devine MD, James Mason MD, Thaddeus Litzow MD. He then moved to California at the California College of Medicine, University of California, Irvine and rose to the rank of Clinical Professor of Surgery on 1989, an appointment he still holds. He is Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, member of the American Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, California Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Foundation of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, International Confederation for Plastic Surgery, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Alumni of the Association Mayo Foundation, Pan-Pacific Surgical Association, American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities, French Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Canadian Society of Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery, and Honorary Member Northwest Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Connell was President of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery in 1991, Vice President in the Canadian Society of Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery in 1990, and Vice President of the Pan-Pacific Surgical Association in 1986.
On behalf of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons he has be interviewed by the most popular magazines in US including Fortune, Vogue, USA Today, Life Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, Town & Country Magazine etc. He has been Visiting Professor and Invited Lecturer in many University Departments and Hospital in USA and abroad including:
